Chester Milliken
Funeral services were held for Chester Milliken, 74, of Dibble, Saturday, January 12 (1992) at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard with Leonard Stewart officiating. Interment followed at Dibble Cemetery.
Mr. Milliken died Thursday, January 9. He was born Sept. 7, 1917.
He served in the Army Medical Corp. during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W.
He worked as a diesel mechanic and heavy equipment operator until his retirement in 1980.
Mr. Milliken is survived by his wife, Lillian, of the home; one daughter, Linda Lee of Ninekah; one brother, J.A. Milliken of Alex; four sisters , Florence McCarty of Rush Springs, Bessie Mason of Blanchard, Rachel Childress of Midwest City and Tina Milliken of Oklahoma City; one grandson, Luke Mutz of Alex; one granddaughter, Keturah Lee of Ninekah; five stepchildren, Maxine and Willie Higgins of Tecumseh, Joe Higgins of Eufala, Naomi and Loyd Ellenburg of Guthrie, Kenneth and Linda Higgins of Ardmore and Clifford and Wanda Higgins of Dibble.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Fannie; one brother, Noah Milliken, and two sisters, Plina Milliken and Mae Montague.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Eisenhour Funeral Home.
