Noah Milliken

Reburial For War Hero Held
Funeral services were conducted in the Missionary Baptist church at Dibble Friday for Noah Milliken, a veteran of World War II, who lost his life on Okinawa, May 21, 1945.
He was serving with the Marines during the Okinawa campaign when he lost his life.
Re-burial for the war hero occurred in the Dibble cemetary.
He leaves to mourn, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. O.A. Milliken and eight brothers and sisters; Mrs. Florence McCarty, Rush Springs; Mrs. Rachel Childers, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Mae Montague, Blanchard; Chester Milliken, Alex; Alfred, Bessie, Tina and Plina Milliken of the home address.
Casket-bearers were Tom Cleveland, Henry York, Buzz Harmon, Jesse Gregory, Jesse Caldwell and Burnie Trout.
Special music for the service was given by Cecil Gray, Bob Kennedy, Bill Smith, and Maretta Duncan.
