Oscar Arnold Milliken

Services for Oscar Milliken Held in Dibble
Funeral services for Oscar A. Milliken were conducted February 13, 1980 at Dibble (Oklahoma) auditorium at 2 p.m. He was born October 6, 1884 in Grayson County, Texas and moved to Love County, Indian Territory when he was a young man. He married Willie Drake November 28, 1906 at Marietta. To this union was born 9 children, 7 of whom survive. Mrs. Milliken preceded him in death on January 8, 1973. A daughter, Plina died in 1968 and a son, Noah died in 1945 during World War II.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Blanchard Masonic Lodge #393. He first joined the Dibble Masonic Lodge in 1916. Mr. Milliken died February 11, 1980 at the Lindsay Municipal Hospital at the age of 95 years.
Survivors include two sons, J.A. "Boose" Milliken of Alex and Chester Milliken of Oklahoma City; five daughters, Florence McCarty of Rush Springs, Mae Montague and Bessie Mason, both of Blanchard, Tina Milliken of Oklahoma City and Rachel Childress of Alex; a brother, J.A. Milliken of Grove, Oklahoma; three sisters, Nita Tubby of Moore, Emma Willingham of Dallas and Tillie Ratts of Wichita, Kansas; 8 grandchildren 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Officiating at services were Rev. B.T. Neal and Rev. Dale Vanderburg. Interment occurred at the Dibble Cemetary under the direction of Eisenhour funeral Home.
