Clarence Verl McCarty of Marlow died Friday, December 21, 2001 at his home. He was 66.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22 at Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs. The Eulogy was delivered by family members. Burial was under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.
On June 9, 1935 he was born in McLoud to Clarence (Jack) Virgle McCarty and Florence (Milliken) McCarty. He attended school at Acme and Rush Springs.
A Rush Springs resident since 1947 he married the former Emmie Dean Jackson on February 26, 1955 in Chickasha. He was a ceramic tile setter by trade.
Preceding him in death was one brother Merle MCarty.
Survivors include his wife Emmie of the home, one son Clyde McCarty and wife Nelda, and one daughter Verlene Earl and husband Elmo all of Rush Springs.
Survivors also include one sister Leatrice Chapman of Blanchard and four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Survivors also include two nephews and three nieces.
