E. Milliken Rites Held
Funeral services for Eliza Milliken, Alex, were held at 2 p.m., Jan. 10 in the Dibble Freewill Baptist Church. She died Jan. 8 in the Purcell hospital.
She was born March 19, 1883 in Erath County, Texas to Alford and Florence Drake. She came to Indian Territory with her family in 1902.
She was married Nov. 28, 1906 to Oscar Milliken.
Survivors include her husband of the home; five daughters and two sons, Florence McCarty, Rush Springs; Mae Montague, Blanchard; J.A. Milliken, Lindsay; Bessie of the home and Tina Milliken, Oklahoma City, Chester Milliken of Alex and Rachel Childress of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also, four sisters, Bessie Trammel and Alma Watkins, both of Alex and Tish Moore and Dorthy Airington, both of Chickasha.
Officiating was the Rev. B.T. Neal. Interment was in the Dibble Cemetary.
